Shatril Harris

Physician Assistant

Shatril Harris is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in Urogynecology. Her emphasis is on providing compassionate and knowledgeable care to women with quality of life conditions – bladder dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain and interstitial cystitis – and she is also involved in preoperative evaluation and postoperative follow-up.

Prior to joining the Florida Center for Urogynecology, she worked in both the family practice and internal medicine setting, treating patients from pediatrics through geriatrics. She then furthered her expertise as a Hospitalist PA, managing acutely ill patients, at both Baptist and South Miami Hospital.

Education & Experience

Shatril received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami. She then continued her education at Miami Dade College and Pace University, where she earned her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Shatril is Board Certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Shatril is published with the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and she is a mentor and preceptor to prospective Physician Assistants.

Philosophy

Shatril enjoys providing personalized and empathetic care for women at every stage of life. She never wants a patient to feel like they are just another number, and remains committed to taking the time to fully understand their needs and concerns.
