Dr. Devora Sklar, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist specializing in pelvic floor dysfunction. As a young mom of three, she is passionate about helping women prepare for healthy pregnancies as well as smooth deliveries and recoveries. She has treated many women with bowel and bladder dysfunction, prolapse, and pelvic pain. Her goal is to educate her patients and provide individualized treatment, in order to improve their overall quality of life.

Education and Experience

Dr. Devora Sklar earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Touro College in Manhattan, receiving an award for academic excellence. She has trained with the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehab Institute to treat pelvic floor dysfunction. Upon graduation, she worked with adults who have orthopedic and neurological diagnoses, many of which were rooted in pelvic floor muscle dysfucntion. She later moved down to Florida where she had the opportunity to pursue her interest in pelvic health. As a pelvic floor therapist, Dr. Sklar has seen significant improvements in patients with a wide range of issues. Her continuing education allows her to actively provide current, high-quality evidence-based treatment. From pelvic pain to urinary incontinence and prolapse, Dr. Sklar is committed to advocating for her patients and promoting pelvic health awareness.
